Stay connected to the Vine

At InterVarsity’s 2011 staff conference, Alec Hill exhorted our staff to stay connected to Jesus, the source of true life. Drawing from Jesus’s words in the 15th chapter of the Gospel of John, Alec challenged InterVarsity staff to abide in Christ, by regularly connecting with Him and observing the sacred rhythms of devotions and sabbath rest. Leading in our Universities

On October 15, 2011, Alec Hill shared some thoughts from campus ministry with the Vineyard Leadership Conference, at Vineyard Church in Columbus, Ohio. Alec’s portion of the presentation begins at about the 14 minute mark.

 

Alec Hill named alumnus of the year

InterVarsity President Alec HIll has been honored as the 2012 Alumnus of the Year by his alma mater, Seattle Pacific University. The award commends Alec for his life-long dedication to renewing university campuses one student at a time.  You can read the full story here.
